Building a vibrant community that connects people abroad.
"In Norway" is a WeChat official account—dedicated to serving the Chinese community living in Norway. It provides curated content on shopping, dining, entertainment, local events, education, and home cooking, helping users stay informed and connected to life abroad.
The Challenge
Many Chinese residents in Norway struggle to find localized, relevant information in their native language. Most existing platforms are not designed with their unique cultural, lifestyle, and practical needs in mind.
The Goal

Design Approach
Based on insights from both primary and secondary research, I decided to structure the mini program around two core sections: Marketplace and Community.
Marketplace focuses on secondhand item exchanges, allowing users to buy and sell within the local Chinese community.
Community features curated articles on food, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, activities, and education in Norway.
